Community Supported Agriculture/Healthy Eating

This seminar will discuss how the Office of Human Resource Services at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the Institute for a Healthiest Maryland are working together to expand the current Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. This program is mutually beneficial for farmers and their community and allows people who join to pay upfront for fresh produce. Then, when the produce is ready, those who paid will receive farm fresh fruits and vegetables for the next 26 weeks. The items are fresh, local, and organic. It is a win for your community and your health! Presented by Greer Huffman and Kate McManus from the Institute for a Healthiest Maryland.
